Ibiza Airport (IBZ) serves not only the island of Ibiza but also the near-by island of Formentera. The airport is served by a variety of airlines, including the famous low-cost ones. Once you are in Madrid you can either fly directly to Ibiza on a low-cost carrier or travel to Barcelona and then take a ferry or flight to Ibiza.
You can also fly into Barcelona, a city served by Barcelona International Airport , the second-largest airport in Spain. It is hub for Vueling Airlines and Clickair. It also serves as focus city for Spanair, Air Europa and Iberia Airlines. Direct flights from London are offered by British Airlines, Iberia and Qantas Airlines, while easyJet flies from Liverpool, Belfast and Newcastle. Monarch Airlines and bmibaby fly directly from Manchester. Once in Barcelona, you can travel to Ibiza by plane or ferry.
