South Africa has 10 international airports but the major ones are Cape Town International and OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg:

• OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) is the largest airport in South Africa. It is located near Johannesburg and is hub for South African Airways, as well as for some local carriers. Direct flights from London to Johannesburg are offered by British Airways, bmi, South African Airways and Virgin Atlantic.
