Most travelers arrive in Tenerife by air on one of the island's airports:

• Tenerife South (Reina Sofia) is the largest airport serving Tenerife and most likely where you'll land. It handles flights from all over the world. EasyJet, Ryanair, Thomson Airways, Monarch Airlines and Viking Airlines fly directly to and from London, while Monarch Airlines and Thomson Airways offer direct flights to and from Birmingham. Other airports in Spain

Spain is a large country and is served by many large and busy airports. In some cases, it might be cheaper to fly from the United Kingdom into one of the large Spanish airports and then catch a connecting flight to Tenerife.

Spain's largest airport is located in Madrid, which serves as primary hub for Iberia Airlines. Another busy airport serves Barcelona and is also home to several important airlines.

There's also the possibility to fly into other Canary Islands. Lanzarote is served by an airport which receives direct flights from London. Fuerteventura receives daily flights from Spain and the rest of Europe as well and offers a lot of ferry services to the other Canary Islands.
